PHOTOGRAPHY
I am a photographer based in Johannesburg. In my art I am using analogue techniques to bring origins of photography into a contemporary context. The word photography has Greek roots and means “drawing with light”. I draw my images with light in different techniques, cyanotype, wet plate collodion on paper, film or glass.
My pictures are a reflection to capture a deeper interpretation than the pure reproduction of the motif.
